Introducing ClassWorks, RiverzEdge Arts Project’s new series of classes open to adults (ages 18+) interested in learning art and design skills for professional or personal growth.
Classes are scheduled for evenings and weekends to allow people with work or family commitments to participate. Classes are taught by our adult mentors, meaning you’ll learn from professional designers and artists working in the field. These classes are being offered through our Arts & Business Opportunity Center.
Our first series of classes, will focus on graphic design and web design. Computer-based classes are limited to 7 students per class, so be sure to register today to reserve your spot!

Digital Design Tools - Register Now (formerly Intro to Print Design)
Mondays, March 19th – April 23rd, 6:30 - 8:30pm, $240This 6-week course introduces students to design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Students will design a variety of projects, such as posters, books and advertisements, while learning design concepts such as typography, color, hierarchy and composition. Completion of this course provides students with knowledge of design programs, an understanding of design concepts, and an increased vocabulary.
Branding & Logo Design - Register Now
Tuesdays, April 17th – May 22nd, 6:30 - 8:30pm, $240This 6-week course introduces students to various ascpects of brand development, including marketing, logo design, and implementation onto a variety of media. We'll use design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, to explore various aspects of logo design, including typography, color, and icons. Completion of this course provides students with basic knowledge of design programs, an understanding of branding strategies and design concepts, and an increased vocabulary.
A $25 cancellation fee (per class) will be charge to students who withdraw from a class after registering.
